As part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, we will be hosting Forage + Fire, an immersive experience where ethnobotanist Jess Moulynox from Backyard Botany will lead guests on a one-hour guided foraging walk to uncover native bush ingredients.
These finds, along with Island-grown produce, will be transformed by Head Chef Shanara Hemi into a fire-cooked feast featuring a grazing table, mains of local beef, fish, and pork, sides, and wine.
Guests will leave full, inspired, and connected to the land through flavour, storytelling, and shared discovery.
The logistics: On the day guests will meet at Cape Woolami foro the foraging expedition and then make their way to Phillip Island Winery for lunch.
