OUR STORY
Phillip Island Winery is owned and run by Nick & Misha Say and Kyra & Dan Leary. Misha & Kyra are sisters who grew up in The King Valley, the heart of wine country, in North East Victoria. Nick and Misha met working in Melbourne’s bustling hospo scene in the early 2000s, and after marrying, they took on the Westernport Hotel in San Remo in 2005. Over the next two decades, they built a legacy of warm, genuine hospitality across several successful venues.
In 2018, they took the reins of Phillip Island Winery from Tim & Trish O’Brien, bringing their signature style of relaxed refinement. Today, Nick leads as CEO, while Misha curates the cellar door and retail space, The Yards. Kyra keeps the business humming behind the scenes, and Dan, tool belt always at the ready, is hands-on with the venue’s ongoing evolution
Together, they’re passionate about creating a space that feels like home - where guests can enjoy exceptional food and wine, soak up the coastal charm, and experience something new every time they visit. With a team chosen for their warmth and skill, and a commitment to showcasing the best of the region, Phillip Island Winery is all about old-school hospitality with a fresh, local twist.
